Densified Polyester Fiber is available in densities from 1.31-2.25 pounds per cubic foot and in thicknesses from 1/2-8″. Higher densities can be achieved in thicknesses less than 3″ thick and widths up to 90″. This 100% polyester fiber is manufactured by the latest product technology to create a new product that is physically superior and meets the most rigid flammability standards. Fibers are fused to one another without chemical bonding agents which are subject to break down under flexing.

Polyester can be used outdoors with high moisture conditions. Because of its construction, water drains completely through the fiber without any absorption. This reduces the mildew potential, and the fiber remains completely dry, which is especially important in boat seats.
